There is no expiry. A perpetual runs until you close it, and the funding payment above is what keeps its price tethered to ETH’s. It is charged on the whole position every settlement — not on your profit, and not only when you are winning.

Liquidation is not a warning. When the margin behind a position is exhausted the venue closes it, at whatever the mark is then. Any liquidation price this product shows is an estimate that moves as the mark moves.
